There have been so many times over the past few years when I have been asked by clients if their loved ones who have passed are around them, and if so… how can they tell? First off, I want to let everyone know that your loved ones are always around you. We are never alone. Secondly, why is it easier for me (a total stranger) to connect with them then it seems for you at times? The best way I know how to explain it is that spirit vibrates in the frequency of love ( hope, faith, trust.. etc.. ) and often times my clients are still being moved through the grieving stage of losing a loved one. This can sometimes involve the fear based emotions of anger, worry, depression/anxiety or an array of other natural emotions one feels after loss.

The best and simplest explanation? Love and fear don’t connect/vibrate/dwell in the same place.. so the illusion of separation can be felt. As the medium involved, I do not have the same type of emotional attachment, so I am able to connect with them in a totally different way. However, this does not mean that your loved ones aren’t with you and trying to constantly get your attention!!!

DREAMS

When your mind is less resistant to receiving guidance or messages from your loved ones, spirit will do what they can to get the messages across to you. Your brain is “asleep” and is more receptive to visitations and experiences that may not be so “logical”. Those experiences / conversations and energy exchanges that take place while you sleep are real. Often times, you will wake up with a solid instinctual knowing that you just had a visit. *For you natural intuitive dreamers, you may even wake up knowing something you didn’t know before you went to bed about your loved ones or you may have received a message to deliver to another family member.

MESSAGES IN MUSIC

Spirit does whatever they can do to get you to feel and what better way to get you to feel than music? After a loved one passes, we are often moved through some sort of an awakening. When this happens, our natural clairaudience gifts can grow stronger. Your loved ones may impress you with music as you sleep (waking up with song lyrics in your head that hold a strong meaning or remembering a song that kept playing during your dream) or you may literally be listening to your favorite tunes and then all of a sudden, you hear a specific lyric or sentence that is an answer to a prayer or question. This is your loved ones and spiritual team guiding you.

ANGEL NUMBERS

Seeing recurring numbers everywhere such as addresses, times on clocks, receipt totals and more? This is also a sign that your loved ones are guiding you, that their energy is all around you. Check out this article on angel numbers and meanings.

SIGNS/SYMBOLS/ANIMAL TOTEMS

Your loved ones know you and they know what will get your attention and ignite a feeling. They will use anything they can to grab your attention using a multitude of signs that may mean something special to you.

Often times, they will use the animal kingdom because animals all carry a certain dominate trait or significant meaning to them. It is very common to see dragonflies, butterflies, hawks/birds, frogs, deer and other animals more than once when spirit is trying to get your attention. It is important not to dismiss these encounters, the more you trust (the vibration/emotion of love ;)) the more you will experience this energy from your loved ones.
